This boat’s name is Trossö and it was a small ferry that ferried people between Karlskronas many islands. It was built in 1923 by Bergsunds mechanical workshop in Stockholm and it was put to rest here in the late 60’s.
Tjurkö – Sweden has a wonderful hidden place tucked away in a cove, four rusting boats sits in the water wasting away. Most of the boats was put here in the 1960s and somehow it all went into oblivion.
The Queen Viktoria was a big ship that cruised between Trelleborg-Sweden and Sassnitz-Germany. It maiden voyage was in 1909 and the ship was scrapped 1968, it’s interior saloon and restaurant was saved and rebuilt in the forum-Trelleborg. You can clearly see the curvature from the build of the boat in the photo.
