Kyrkoköpinge was built in 1873 and is a Hollandish mill. The wings are new and got installed in 2012. The mill was powered by the wind up until 1938 when they installed an electrical motor. In 1945 they dismounted it’s wings and in 1972 they closed the mill completely. The mill has now been completely restored and can be used as it did in it’s early days.
Höga Mill has been moved and modified over the years, the mill is the hollandish model and it dates back to the 1800 century. The mill was moved from Malmö kirseberg to västra Klagstorp in 1910 and a second brick storey was added. This mill replaced an much older mill that stood close by. Nowadays it is used as a house by it’s current owners.
Västra Klagstorps church was built in the 1100th century and only the tower is left from that period. The main part of the church was torn down in 1880s only to be rebuilt in 1885. The tower served as a defensive point and had several canons installed.
Aggarps mill was built in 1896 and is a Hollandish model mill. There once stood a much simpler and primitive mill here but it was torn down when the farmers needed more productivity. The use of the mill stopped in 1951.
This beautiful church is called “the notre dame of the plains” and was built in the 14th century. I really need to take more trips outside!, i’ve been couped up in my home taking macros for too long now : )
This church is one of Scanias oldest brick churches. It was built in the 1200th century. I was baptised in this church : )
The uncertain future of this old train station is reflected in the fog.
At first glance i just liked the facade, then i noticed the long shadows and the chair, the bike. And what i made the shot for me was the playful reflections from the windows on that middle part
